Chanteur américain: Don Edwards

Don Edwards est né le 20 Mars 20 1939 à Boonton, New Jersey donc dans un état nordiste.

C'est un Cowboy chantant. Il a enregistré plusieurs albums, dont Guitars & Saddle Songs and Songs of the Cowboy  qu'est inclus dans les Archives de la Bibliothèque du Congrès.

Edwards a également enregistré l'album Cowboy High Lonesome avec Peter Rowan et Tony Rice.

En 1993, il est apparu sur le Grammy Award Nanci Griffith qui a remporté l'album "Other Voices, Other Rooms" sur lequel il accompagna Griffith sur une chanson de Michael Burton intitulé «La complainte du Night Rider".

Edwards a joué le personnage de Smokey dans "The Horse Whisperer" de Redford . 

 

En 2005, Don Edwards a été intronisé au Western Music Association Hall of Fame.
